Joining Forge Family
The Forge Initiative group has two membership tiers that both have a set of requirements to become before one can attain a FMWR patch.
*Associate Status:
*Attain (1) flektarn uniform
*Attend (2) FTX consecutive Events
*Pass a Vote by Full Patched Members.
*Patched Status:
*Attend (1) FTX per season (Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter, with (2) Consecutive events being attended.
*Pass a Rifle and Pistol Qualification.
*Score a Passing Grade APFT in your age group.
*Aide in instructing (1) FTX, along with Planning (1) FTX.
\*Attain (2) Flektarn uniforms
*Pass a Final Vote by Patched Members

Standardization:
The Forge group has standardized the AR-15 pattern rifle, and Glock 9mm pistol as our primary firearms of use, with the general adaptability of cross training on many other patterns of fireams.
Specifically; AKM, G3, 1911, MP5, M249, etc.

Flektarn:
The Forge group has chosen to utilize the Flektarn camo as it blends well with the general Wisconsin environment and is a non-US issue camo as to avoid on charges of stolen valor outside of the group.
In more public settings we also maintain different Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)s for matching non-camouflage clothing.
